 I founded Shelley's Family Jewels in the Asheville community after touring the Biltmore Estate. I was charmed by the beauty, elegance and glamour of a bygone era when women wore rhinestone costume jewelry to society balls and wedding receptions. My lifelong passion for vintage costume jewelry began with my mother's overflowing jewelry box filled with rhinestone brooches, Austrian crystal necklaces and beads of every kind.
