Wow Factor Cake Design

Amy created the cake for our wedding in October. She did such a great job with the design, it was stunning and so detailed! The cake itself was the best I have ever had- so moist and fresh! Anytime I had a question she was so quick to respond. We chose a different flavor for each layer then close to the wedding day I decided to switch the flavors of the bottom and middle layer. Amy responded quickly that it would be fine, no questions asked. In the future, whenever we need a cake, we will definitely go back to Amy!

Amy was wonderful to work with. She gave me many cake flavors and design options to choose from. I ended up choosing two flavors for my cake and they were amazing! Many of my guests let me know how great the cake tasted. The cake also looked flawless! I am very satisfied with Wow Factor!!

Working with Amy of WOW Factor Cakes was wonderful. Our wedding cake was not only gorgeous, but it was delicious. She did a wonderful job on both our wedding cake and our groom's cake.

When planning my wedding for 8/13/2011, aside from my dress and the food, the cake was the 3rd thing that had to be perfect in my eyes! Amy came highly recommended as the preferred baker for my venue, and I was a bit skeptical, until I meet with her. I wanted something, simple, yet elegant and of course, Delicious. My cake was delicious and beautiful. It was my dream wedding cake. 150 guest and on a budget, she worked with me so I could get the cake of my dreams in my price range.

Amy was amazing!!! As I bride, I unfortunately had zero creativity, but I knew that instead of a wedding cake, I wanted to use cake pops, or her "wowee pops" and they were far better than I imagined. She was referred to me from a few different people in Charlotte, and she was very responsive. I wasn't quite sure how I wanted to display my wowee pops so she came up with several creative ideas that resulted in her designing a structure. As soon as I told my wedding coordinator I wanted Amy as my vendor she told me that was a great decision. Amy made a display that included wowee pops that looked like a wedding cake, then several cake pop displays around it. Not only did it look good, but it was honestly my favorite part of the wedding. Guests couldn't get enough of them and we had to take apart the cake display because everyone kept wanting more. BTW, my coordinator recommended that one of the flavors I should get was pink lemonade because it was always every one's favorite. I was hesitant, but went with her lead and it was delicious (not as tart as you would imagine). We really have had people come up to us weeks after the wedding to tell us how much they liked the wowee pops, and one of my friends is using that idea for her wedding too. I'm more than happy to answer any questions anyone has. (We got married 4.30.11 so my review is a big delayed but fairly recent).

The Wow Factor Cakes exceeded all of my expectations. I brought Amy my wedding invitation and she was able to make an exact replica of the flowers and design. I choose two different flavors and both were beyond delicious. My friends are still talking about my wedding cake!! When planning my wedding choosing The Wow Factor Cakes was by far the best and easiest decision I made!

The cake was truly amazing...it looked like a piece if art!! It was exactly what we wanted. The taste of the cake was also wonderful. We had a pumpking chocolate chip cake for a fall wedding.

Most amazing wedding cake ever! Not only was my cake GORGEOUS but can you say DE-LICIOUS? How can I wait one year to eat the top tier? Amy with The Wow Factor Cakes was a pleasure to work with. I told my husband I want all of my cakes from her (birthdays, baby showers, when I'm bored, etc). She worked within our budget and the guest are still talking about how good the cake was! Her prices are very reasonable and SOOO worth every penny! My father lost his job 6 months before my wedding, which we had to move back the wedding 4 months, and Amy really came through by being flexible with payments. So look no further for your cake vendor, The Wow Factor's cakes not only gorgeous, but absolutely mouth watering and Amy is amazing...I am not exaggerating!

We used them for our wedding cakes and they were absolutely delicious. We got so many compliments on them and I loved having such a broad range of flavors to pick from. They were one of the more expensive options in the area, but the cakes turned out great, so I guess you get what you pay for!

I have never tasted a cake better then this in my entire life. The taste matched perfectly and the cake just looked magnificent. The review lady below is just rotten. Never had anything better. I recommend!!

We received so many compliments on our beautiful cake. Not only was the cake visually appealing it tasted heavenly .

The cake was nice, was included with a package with the Holiday Inn Center City. Her samples looked great but our cake wasn't even close to the samples we saw. I was highly disappointed and guess we got exactly what you would expect in a all-inclusive wedding package. If you don't have a lot of money, your cake will reflect it with this vendor. I honestly could have made a cake that looked more polished. RE: It wasn't the taste that was bad, because it did taste very good. It's just that it didn't look like the picture we had decided on. You could see the seems meet unevenly on the front of the cake, the monogram was sloppy and the circle of rhinestones was a uneven oval instead. The roses on top weren't placed in the center of the top teir, but more towards the back, everything looked off. I sacrificed a more detailed cake with another company because your samples looked a lot more polised, it just seems the time wasn't put into our cake because we didn't choose to upgrade at the time of the consultation.
