My daughter wanted an outdoor wedding with the theme "Enchanted Evening" and enchanted it was! The Willow Creek Inn indeed had the perfect surroundings. From the outdoor wedding deck to the Pavilion with the enchanted garden with the fireplace. Everything was perfect including the gourmet food prepared by the Chef Mansour Zand. I would recommend Willow Creek Inn to anyone for any type wedding!

As a soon to be bride in the Vale, NC area my fiance and I were exploring possible venues to hold our event near our home town. Today we decided to visit The Willow Creek Inn to see what they had to offer. As we pull into the driveway of the property we are met by this highly narcissistic man who told us quote words, "you should have called me, so I wouldn't have been here." Well lets just throw southern hospitality out the window shall we? We proceed into the house where we are interrogated by this man who calls himself a wedding planner extraordinaire. He asks where I went to college, what my major was, and what I invisioned for the night/day of our wedding. This seemed harmless enough. As the visit went along we began talking about a budget. Keep in mind that on the website for this establishment they advertise that they can make a custom wedding package to fit any budget. This seemed perfect for us! Much to our dismay, the budget mentioned on the website should read, "If you are a millionaire from somewhere besides Vale, NC and can spend over $100,000 on your wedding come see me" I told Mansour that we would like to keep our budget around $1000. Immediately he quit talking. As a matter of fact he looked at my fiance and I and in his words said, "Well...it's not your fault that you weren't born rich!" I about fell out of my chair. The gaul that some people have. So needless to say we are still looking for the perfect place to hold our wedding and reception. If you are not in mood to be belittled, put down and made feel far less that pond scum and left crying on the way home go vist Mansour at The Willow Creek Inn, he'll make you feel right at home!

I called Willow Creek Inn, because I was interested in booking the venue for our wedding in 2011. The man who answered the phone was the rudest person I have ever spoken to. He began by telling me I wasn't clear enough when I called and asked if they were open on a Monday. I wasn't aware that wasn't a clear question...seems pretty clear to me. He then proceeded to ask me the date for our wedding. When I told him 2011...his reply was WHAT DATE? Obviously if I have only stated 2011, then I haven't chosen a specific date yet. He also asked me what my budget was, which is none of his business. His only business is to show me the property, and THEN if we decided to go with Willow Creek, we could discuss the budget. After the man yelled at me regarding my budget I informed him he was being very rude and we were no longer interested, so he hung up on me. I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST THIS VENUE TO ANYONE!!!!! They seriously need to consider hiring a new manager!

Willow Creek Inn is quite possibly the best hidden gem North Carolina has to offer! The cuisine is superb and the location (on 70 acres of rolling hills and meadows) is gorgeous. It's well worth the short drive from Charlotte. We held our engagement party there and just celebrated our fifth anniversary with them as well. If you are looking for a unique place with unparalleled service and cuisine, you have found it.
