Verge Events

Nicole with Verge Events was so wonderful to work with! She was so helpful coordinating all of my vendors and making the entire planning process run smoothly. I used Studio Wed and the local vendors who worked through them to plan my big day! On the day of my wedding Nicole made certain that every detail was followed out just as I had requested so that all I had to do was enjoy the day. The day after I had a bit of a panic moment thinking that I had miss placed a special item that was given to me by my husbands grandmother, I called Nicole immediately and she had taken care of it the night before without me even asking! I could not have had a better experience or a better group of people to work with. If I could do it all again I wouldn't change a thing!

I had a terrific experience working with Nicole Riley (through StudioWed) and Brittany Ghio of Verge. Through the planning process, Nicole provided invaluable advice and guidance and Brittany took over as we got closer to the wedding. When my mom and I met with Brittany to finalize plans (and I had a lot of details as part of my vision!), mom remarked that hiring a Day of Coordinator was going to be the best money we spent. She was correct -- Brittany not only provided us with the extra set of hands to accomplish the details - she also was a calming presence throughout the final weeks and connected all of the dots so that the day could be exactly as I imagined it. I can't say enough good things!

Nicole with Studio Wed exceeded our expectations. She attended vender meetings with us, took into consideration our goals and make helpful suggestions based on her experience when we were caught between decisions. What's more, she will take into consideration your budget and help you stick to it! And help you negotiate with vendors who may be trying to over charge you. I truly can't say enough about her and Studio Wed! If you are considering hiring a wedding planner, don't wait another second!! Having Nicole and her team made what could have been a stressful year, totally enjoyable. My parents, husband, and I were able to enjoy every second of a once in a life time day, without any interruption or anxiety over telling people where to be. Thank you Nicole!!

There are literally not enough nice things I can say about Nicole Riley, our wedding planner from Verge Events! We were introduced to Nicole at Biltmore event. She was so sweet to take the time even during a busy social event to talk to us about what to expect from a wedding planner. She even discussed with us the things we should start thinking about. We knew from our very first time meeting her that she would be our planner. She was able to give us an appointment with her under such short notice and the short time we were in town (we live in CA). Her studio on Hendersonville Road is so adorable and cozy! She even has examples of reception tables, decor and other wedding ideas i.e. favors set up to inspire newbies like us. She gave us many wedding magazines and other materials to take home with us. It was clear from the beginning that Nicole had worked closely and often with many of the areas other vendors. Meetings with these vendors i.e. florists, DJs, etc. seemed happy to meet us at her convenient location so we weren't wasting tons of time driving between locations. We were 100% confident in Nicole as she kept detailed notes on every little thing we wanted. She kept us on task without being annoying. So many details were taken care of Nicole that we would have never even thought of. Each and every vendor that Nicole introduced us to was fabulous and it was clear they felt the same way about her. It was important to us to also have a planner that could align herself with our tastes and preferences, which Nicole did. She made countless suggestions that often saved the day so to speak. We felt that Nicole was able to secure better service from each vendor because they had trusted her professionalism. One vendor in particular was reluctant to provide something we really wanted, eventually Nicole convinced them to give in and it truly turned a perhaps negative situation into a positive one. Closer to the wedding, Nicole was just wonderful! We often wondered how she could be doing anything else with her time because she was so dedicated to us and our event! Once, in a panic to submit a final count, we called on Nicole on a Sunday. She answered even though she was taking a boat out with her family, with absolutely no annoyance in her voice. We were and still are so impressed. In fact, never during the year long planning period did she reveal any type of stress, annoyance, etc. which really helped us to remain calm and confident in her services. Not only would she speak frequently with us, she would also happily speak with my parents and the groom's parents quite often. On the actual day of the wedding, Nicole was as fabulous as ever. We did not see her often but she was there the whole entire time making sure the event went smoothly, no vendors needed to speak with us or our families and everything went off without a hitch. Of course, being the wedding couple we were quite distracted so when we left we realized that we had left behind my bouquet, a bag and a laptop for our photomontage projection. We called her that evening and she had already given the flowers and bag to my parents. We looked in a bag that we did manage to take away with us from the event and she had somehow put the laptop in the bag! How she knew that that was our bag, we'll never know! Wedding planning is clearly Nicole's sixth sense! We HIGHLY recommend Nicole as a wedding planner as we really can't image how the event nor the planning could have been any better. We do know however that there was no way we could have pulled it off without her. According to us and many people we've spoken to, she's the go to planner in and around Asheville, NC. All of our guests are still raving about the wedding, many saying it was the best wedding they've ever attended. Nicole is utter perfection.

Nicole and her team are the people you want with you on your wedding day. I (like you) had some very specific things that I wanted to happen on my wedding day and was nervous that it all wouldn't go how I had envisioned. But this is where Nicole and Verge events shined. Verge Events listened to what I wanted and then were able to take that vision and turn it into the most amazing, creative, beautiful day of my life. Because my wedding ceremony was in a park and my reception was at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Biltmore Village in Asheville, there were tons of details which seemed to be effortless for her to handle. I completely trust her and highly recommend using the vendors that she knows and loves because they really are the best! I was completely pleased with every little facet of my wedding from the flowers to the cake to the trolleys and the lights- she made it all possible. It takes a special talent to be able to do what she does and for the sake of all future brides out there - I hope she never stops. She really made my day positively memorable in each and every way and was THE reason that I was able to relax and enjoy each beautiful unfolding moment. I never worried about a thing, because I knew she was there (in her headset no less) making sure everything was in its right place in its right time. Thank you so much Nicole and Verge Events! You really know how to make an event magical!!!

Jennifer King was awesome. Made my wedding day and the whole experience a lot easier. If you can afford it get a wedding planner, its worth it.

Nicole Riley is fabulous! My now husband and I immediately felt comfortable and understood when we went to meet with her for the first time. She was fun to work with and professional all in one. I called her for everything imaginable, since I was an out-of-state bride trying to work through my final year of law school. She ran errands for us in town, kept us updated on our contracts with vendors, and helped us design our gorgeous Biltmore Estate wedding. (We definitely also recommend the vendors from StudioWed... they were great!) Having Nicole around was also a huge help to me with regards to my mom and our differences in opinion. Nicole was a priceless addition to our wedding - my husband and I had a blast and it was all thanks to her for making us stress-free! Couldn't be happier with Verge Events and StudioWed!
