Unforgettable Occasions

Laura and team were extremely helpful throughout the wedding planning process. From the beginning, I knew what I wanted, but knew I didn't have the time to execute it. The day was fantastic, and Unforgettable Occasions helped bring our vision to life. Some of the things I liked best about working with Laura: - Prompt response / Follow-up: I don't think I ever waited more than 1 day for a response, and she would always give me a heads up if she was going out of town for a long weekend. She had great follow-up with vendors as well. - Flexibility / Personalized Attention: Laura knew that I was feeling overwhelmed between work and the "unknown", so at my request she sent me a weekly email with upcoming tasks and decisions I had to make. This helped keep me on track and not go crazy. - Organization: Laura was extremely organized and kept records of every vendor communication. - Vendor recommendation: Laura had great vendor recommendations, and if for some reason the initial recommendation didn't work out, she had great alternate suggestions. She was respectful of our budget and where we wanted to spend the money. - Ideas: Laura quickly grasped our style and had creative ways to integrate it into the reception while remaining cognizant of our budget. All in all, Laura and team made our day as stress-free as possible. I had complete confidence that Laura would pull all the elements - decor and vendors - together. The bridesmaids and I didn't worry about a thing the day of the wedding. We had our hair and make-up done and drank champagne while Laura was working behind the scenes on everything. We were in Jamaica on our honeymoon and realized we forgot our marriage certificate to get our complementary couples massage. Within 2 hours, Laura had e-mailed me a scanned copy of our marriage certificate. I highly recommend Laura, and have already recommended her to 2 people. She did an amazing job, and I would re-hire her without giving it a second thought.

My wedding day was truly the best day of my life and I owe it to few people for their help and guidance. At first I was a little skeptical on hiring someone to help me plan my wedding but soon realized it was the BEST investment I made. I am a very organized and knew what I wanted from the moment I said YES so turning over the event was not an easy task for me. I had met Laura at a function and she was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Before I knew it I had set up a meeting with her to get some advice on where to begin with planning my big day. She brought me several magazines, planners, and samples of wedding themes. I had decided that I wanted to do a destination wedding and wanted a relaxed, carefree wedding atmosphere for my guests. Laura was very easy to work with. She listened to all of my ideas and to what I really wanted. She offered advice, cost cutting tips, and most importantly kept me on track and made sure I met all of the deadlines. When my big day rolled around I was nervous and very curious to see how everything was going to come together that we had worked so hard on. Laura kept me at ease. She handled everything from set up to the finest details for my guests. From the Caterer to the Cake Deliver to the photographer to the table and chair set up to the moment I walked down the aisle she handled it all! Looking back to the day, I am still amazed at her vision and everything that she had accomplished. My husband and I were in awe everywhere we looked that day at the details that I didn�t even think of that she just did. I had a vision in my head and Laura surpassed my expectations! I would highly recommend Laura to all of my friends and family. She is very professional, easy to talk to, and is extremely organized. She knows how to get things done. I am still receiving compliments from my wedding day.

Laura is very good at what she does. Her attention to detail and great ideas put me at ease right away. Planning a wedding can be very stressful down to every little detail and she came right in and took over all the little details so I didn't have to be worrying about them. She came with my Mom and I on countless trips to our venue and gave her input and ideas. We had a very enjoyable time working with her and our wedding turned out just perfect...exactly what every bride wants.
