The Orchard House

My husband and I had our wedding here in June 2011 and it was the wedding I dreamed of. My family is in Texas and as a result I did 95% of the wedding myself and it can be very overwhelming with no support. However, I had a great time with the Orchard House girls. In all the planning I was never told "No" or "That's extra" or "That is not our job" or "We just rent the space". I always felt like they took my wedding as seriously as I did. When you work with them you are not just another bride you are THE BRIDE and they will help you with whatever problem you have without any exasperation. At first it may seem expensive but in the end you realize the service is what makes it worth every penny.I feel like I made real friends. I cant thank them enough for the wedding they gave us.

I considered having my wedding here, but I realized it was just too far away from my home and for most of my family. However, the staff here are AMAZING! They cater to brides! I wish I could have had my wedding here......

My reception here was nothing short of amazing thanks to the beautiful grounds and the help of Emily and Melissa. They helped me pick out the best vendors and took care of everything/everyone on the day of. The bridal party was served hor d'oeuvres and mimosas while we were getting ready (my favorite part). The grounds are what initially drew me to have my reception here just because they are so beautiful, but if I had known how much how much Emily and Melissa would help me beforehand (and how creative they were), then I would have jumped on this place a lot faster. My reception was just perfect:)

Emily and Melissa at the Orchard House have such a positive, upbeat energy! I don't think we ever heard "no" or "can't" anytime during the whole process of planning and doing! They offered tons of suggestions, listened carefully, and laughed and joked continually. Very calming, truly. The only (and I mean ONLY) suggestion I would make is for brides to contact the OC early in the "need-to-know-by" timeline, whenever a question needs an answer, etc., as the ladies don't employ office help to answer the phone, etc. Every once in a while, it takes a bit for them to get back to you. Personally, we were ok with that, given the value we received for the dollars we spent with them... but if you are a Type A bride, you should let them know up front so everyone can live with everyone's expectations!

The Orchard House was wonderful! They helped my husband and I soo much with providing us the best vendors. They turned and cleaned that place around so beautifully I was stunned. I am overly pleased with their overall professionalism and their quality of service. They were very persistent with doing whatever they could to make our wedding day spectacular. I enjoyed their company, and hope that many more will also see what a great job they can do.
