Leroy Springs & Company

Working with Leroy Springs and Co. was a wonderful experience. Everyone with the Dairy Barn was great and prompt with answering questions and getting any information we asked for to us in a timely manner. There was always someone to work with and talk to at any time. The only time there was a problem was at rehearsal when on of their employees was present, he was not a pleasurable or professional person. This was not someone we dealt with during the planning process and if it had been we would not have moved forward with them as our vendor. The catering was excellent....there were so many compliments on the food, beverages (especially the tea and punch), and the service we received at the reception. We had over 200 people which made The Dairy Barn a great venue, especially utilizing the outside patio. There is not a whole lot of decorating time, especially if you are trying to do it yourself; however, it doesn't need much due to the beauty of the site (inside and out) I would recommend Leroy Springs and Co. to anyone, especially if they are keeping looking for a uniquely beautiful site with lots of options.

This is a beautiful and unique location and my wedding went perfectly. I would highly recommend The Dairy Barn for weddings and other events. The group that handles renting the barn out was very helpful and responded quickly to all my questions. I would caution anyone from using the Leroy Springs Catering. You do not have to use them but the cost of the venue goes up if you do not. The food was wonderful at the wedding but the customer service from Leroy Springs Catering was poor from the beginning. My initial menu was lost by the catering manager and she called about 2 months after our meeting and asked if I remembered what I wanted and the quantities. Several times when I sent emails or called about questions it took weeks or even a month before I got a response. Then at the wedding we quickly ran out of some food (not everything) and the person directing the catering that night said who ever who had helped me plan the menu did not advise on enough food. I had this concern myself and had asked about this a month before the wedding and I was assured by the catering manager that there would be plenty and this was not the case. If you do decide to use them just stay on top of every detail and keep a good records and notes. Everything else went well and I could not be happier.

The venue is absolutely beautiful! I would use the venue again, but I would not use Leroy Springs Catering Company. The venue is "half price" if you use their catering company, but I think it would be worth it to look elsewhere for catering. Everyone with the Dairy Barn was very nice, but we definitely felt like we were just a number. . . if we hadn't booked for the day someone else would have come along. They did make arrangements for us to drop off some things the day before the wedding which was a huge help. We and any vendors were only allowed in the venue 3 hours before the "rental time" starts. Since we were a little busy getting ready for the wedding ceremony at our church that made it difficult to bring things on Saturday morning.

Beautiful venue, great location, great flexibility- would recommend highly.

When selling this site to me, I was told it would hold approximately 400 people, but they forget to tell you that they don't have enough chairs for upstairs and downstairs to accomodate that many people at the same time. I had 200 people at my wedding and it was still an issue. Also, decorating was an issue unless you used one of their contractors. I used their cater and I was unable to taste any of the food before the wedding, which made me very nervous, but the food turned out great. Other than all of this the venue was beautiful, the food and staff were great, and I enjoyed my experience overall.

The Dairy Barn was our ideal wedding location. Large enough to accommodate all our guests, flexible with catering and bar options, the ability to rent on a daily basis, and just plain beautiful. I understand they are booked WAY in advance now, and rightfully so. We have considered booking again for a future anniversary party!
