We purchased my husband's wedding ring at Jewelsmith and worked with Patrick. We were new to the area and did not have a relationship with a local jeweler. I can't say enough good things about how Patrick treated us. My husband does not like to rush into decisions and we visited a couple of times before he was ready to place the order. Even though this was not a big-ticket purchase, Patrick spent a lot of time with us and patiently answered all of our questions. The quality was great, and we definitely plan to return for future purchases.

Love my ring and the designer (Phillip), but I had a very disappointing experience with their gemologist in terms of honesty surrounding the quality of the diamond. I would still recommend Jewelsmith to anyone who wants to have a unique ring because they do beautiful work, but when it comes to selecting the diamond, buyer beware. My first diamond had a small but visible occlusion that I noticed about a week into wearing the ring (and could not stop staring at once I saw it). The gemologist never called this to our attention when we were working with her. She just offered to let us look at the diamond under a microscope (like I have any idea what to look for - she's the gemologist!). I felt she lied by omission, and while Jewelsmith did not charge me for remaking the ring using a new diamond, it was both an annoyance and an embarrassment to have to give them my ring back to "fix" after only being engaged for a week! In short, go there for the quality of the design, but know that you need to be on your toes when it comes to picking the diamond - you can't just trust them to tell you what you need to know.

My husband got both my wedding ring and engagement ring from JewelSmith. They have beautiful unique looking jewelry. Highly recommended.
