So grateful for Elizabeth's help, she takes the stress out of planning your wedding. Your make your own choices under her guidance, she knows the vendors that are best at the service they provide. Very easy to communicate with and tech savvy, making planning away from home much easier.

I used Elizabeth as my "week/day of" wedding coordinator and I could not have been more pleased with her service, promptness, and personality. Having her there to take care of all of the small things (which add up to be a lot) allowed me and my whole family to just enjoy the day instead of worrying about anything. She knows how to do her job well and I recommend that everyone should hire at least a day of coordinator, and it should definitely be Elizabeth if your wedding is in the High Country.

Elizabeth and her assistant were outstanding! Elizabeth worked with us on whatever we wanted or needed her to do. She will do as much or as little as you wish. We were having an out of state wedding. She kept in contact over the months by email or phone to make sure everything was ok and asked if we needed help with anything. She lined up all the vendors to make sure everyone had a plan on what to do the day of the wedding. She is very well organized and knows what she is doing. Rehearsal went fast and smooth, so we could move on to enjoy the rest of the evening. On the day of the wedding, she picked up everything from us that was needed for the ceremony and reception and set everything up and worked with the florist and other vendors to run everything smoothly. She had the perfect timeline on how things should have run and went perfect. She also helped clean and pick up everything after the evening and returned all of our personal things back to us that night. They worked really hard to make my big day a success! It was definitely worth the money to have the stress off of me through the planning process. They made sure every detail was taken care of, and found me the best vendors in the area. They were super nice, very organized, and so much fun to work with!

We could not have pulled it off with out Elizabeth!! She is THE best—professional, experienced and truly amazing. We found out 2 days before our wedding that the church had double booked—yes that is correct, DOUBLE BOOKED and Elizabeth was the cool, calm and collected angel that helped us with a back up plan that was better than the original. My experience began with Events by Elizabeth Ashley when I realized I had to change Wedding Planners with only 3 months until the wedding. Elizabeth is FANTASTIC. When my mom first suggested hiring a wedding planner, I said no way, that I could do it on my own. During my first phone conversation with Elizabeth she said "sounds like you're really hands off. I can just step in when you need me to". And believe me, planning a destination wedding there are some things you just can't do from afar. She helped by recommending other great vendors, setting up wine/beer/tables/linens, etc. She also confirmed with the vendors 2 weeks before and was a lifesaver the day of. She is very professional and a ton of fun too!

Elizabeth was such an incredible person to work with, especially as an out-of-town bride. She kept us on our toes for what the next plan of action was on a punctual manner in the most painless way possible. I saw a lot less of her than I imagined on the actual wedding day, which means I wasn't shuffled around or pressured to mingle with people. As soon as my husband and I walked into the reception, we were stunned as we were already stumbling on each other over the first dance... It was very pleasing to me that she'd already prepared samples of our catered food and some wine, champagne, and our featured liquored drink when Tom and I were done stumbling on each other. It was so nice to have that quiet corner of a table to hide away to after the dance. After looking through most of our wedding pictures, it's obvious Elizabeth busted tail to make it the most special and memorable day for Tom and me. Oh yes, the bottle of champagne and hand-picked flowers waiting for us at our honeymoon cabin were also a lovely touch. Thanks, Elizabeth!

Make sure she understands completely what you want. Especially if you have to have a back-up plan. Make sure to emphasize the importance of being available during your reception. Her fee for rehearsal and day of is too much for the service you will get.
