Colorful Palate

The Colorful Palate was simply wonderful. Their food was delicious - and their customer service was phenomenal. We were not from Asheville and were nervouse about dealing with a caterer we did not know - but have no fear dealing with the wonderful ladies at Colorful Palate. They were very responsive - in every situation! And simply a pleasure to deal with!

They did a great job with the food and everyone raved about how good it was! So easy to work with and put up with my crazy questions!

I don't know who started the rumor that you do not get to eat at your own wedding...because we certainly did. We made sure of it because we were so excited about the menu that Tara and Ragan created for us. We worked with Tara after our initial tasting and she was accessible, approachable and made great suggestions to help us stay in our budget. Every recommendation Tara made was solid...she even tipped us off to the band that would play our reception and they were phenomenal! Aside from all that ... the food was DELICIOUS. I had to pull the chipotle cheese (and roast beef, pork tenderloin and black eyed pea hummus) from my husbands hands weeks after the wedding and tell him it was probably time to let it go. Of course...the macaroni and cheese didn't even make it home with us because it was so good it was gone!

These ladies provided us with some of the most beautiful and best tasting dishes. We loved the spread.. and have heard nothing but great reviews from our guests. They were very flexible with the rising and falling of guest count and helped with other rentals as well. I highly recommend these lovely ladies to cater your wedding!!!

The ladies at Colorful Palate were excellent. We switched caterers at the last moment, and they were so flexible and accommodating. I am a food writer, so the catering was one of the most important parts of my wedding. These ladies did me proud. The food was delicious, the presentation was divine, and I couldn't have been happier!

The gals at Colorful Palate did a great job from beginning to end. Planning a wedding from out of town creates all kinds of challenges but Ragan and Tara made it seamless. Their recommendations were perfect for all tastes and yet still very special and unique. The night of weddig you could easily haev missed them they were so discrete and professional in their service. Clean up was a breeze. I would highly recommend Colorful Palate for any special event or wedding.

Tara and Ragan put together a wonderful menu for our wedding and the food was yummy! Everyone was really impressed and everything was delicious. The onsite staff were helpful and did a great job keeping everything going smoothly.

YES. please use them. always. everything from my therapist (due to maternal wedding pressure) to my invisible catering friends, they were. done and done.

Guests RAVED about the food -- for days afterward even! Staff was fantastic and even thoroughly cleaned up after themselves (we weren't at a true venue). Prices aren't cheap but feel that the uniqueness of the menu, service and overall was worth it.

The food was absoultly delicious and plenty of it. The adult macaroni and cheese was a hugh hit with our guests, along with all the other food.

Everyone at Colorful Palate was pleasant to work with, were very responsive, and willing to work our budget with the type of food we wanted. The food display was beautiful and very colorful. And staff was present the entire time.
