Carolina Strings

I couldn't have been happier with Carolina Strings. Jane was very responsive and easy to work with. We hired a string trio instead of a quartet and it was perfect for our ceremony. We had a little less than 100 guests at an outdoor location. I could hear the music clearly from pretty far away before the ceremony started and it was beautiful. I'm so glad we hired them!

Carolina Strings provided the ceremony music for our October wedding. I booked them 13 months in advance, good thing because they book fast! All of the members play for the Charlotte Symphony, which was very impressive. The manager, Evelyn, was very nice and great to work with. A few days before the wedding, she informed me that she would not be able to be there, and that there'd be someone to take her place (we had booked a quartet). On the day of the wedding, they were there on time, everything was great, music was great. A few days after the wedding, Evelyn called me and said she was sending me a partial refund because her substitute had a family emergency and couldnt be there, so there was actually a trio instead of a quartet, which I had never even noticed (guess I wasnt looking at the musicians, had too many other things going on!). I was very impressed that she brought this to MY attention, because I never knew any better, and she could have just gone on not saying anything, but instead she was very honest about the situation and refunded me the money for that musician. I'd recommend them to anyone getting married. They were a little pricey but you are truly getting the best by booking them. I had considered booking another group but they were SO incredibly disorganized with getting me a contract, meeting me, etc. that I said forget it, I need to go with a group that's got their stuff straight. I booked Carolina Strings and never looked back!
