AVL Event Planning and Staffing

my family and i were EXTREMELY dissapointed with this vendor. We went through this vendor because we were catering our food from 12 bones and they are not a full service. So we hired AVL even staffing to pick up the food, serve, bartend, and clean up and all. WELL...they picked up the food and when they got there, that is when everything strange started happening. Whenever any member of my family tried to go into the kitchen where our reception was, a staff member would come in and stand over that person and ask what they were doing....may i mind you that it was MY wedding and we hired THEM to come in and do these things but yet they were standing over us asking us what we were doing?? Very strange. THis didn't happen once...after the wedding, even days after the wedding i had different people telling me different things about them that was just sketchy and weird. My mother in law went into that room to try and find something that was supposed to be set up and when she went to the room to go in, a staff member stopped her and asked her what she was looking for and she told them and they said, 'well thats not in here.' and she told me she told them seh was going to look anyways, which im glad she did. Well it all didn't make any sense to me until after the wedding when i found out (which they didn't tell me this on purpose) that 18 people did not get meat!!!! Okay, first of all, we were quoted at 135 people being at the wedding....12 bones who catered was wonderful...thave have NEVER ran out of food, ever. So i know it may sound crazy and whatever, you want to think, but I am merely writing this review to warn people. If you go with this company, pick up your own food and know what you have. That is embarrassing, ESPECIALLY when you pay these people so much money and then you have people who run out of meat....I dont know what happened but the way they were acting was not right and not okay.

Lauri is there for YOU, and she has the patience of a saint. She will be there when you need her, has great ideas, is connected to heaps of vendors, and will totally talk your father off the ledge if needs be. :)She is amazing and her staff are fantastic.I would work with her again in a heartbeat!xo

Lauri has an incredible attention to detail and follow thru, that along with her friendly personality makes her and her staff a pleasure to work with. I would and do highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a true professional
