All The Right Grooves

Our wedding was definitely a challenge from a DJ's perspective - we're a little older than most couples, in our mid 40's, and for the most part, our guests were small children and people in their 40's and above, with a handful of teenagers, and it was a small group (less than 40). Jill and All the Right Grooves did a fantastic job playing the music we wanted to hear and that our guests of all ages enjoyed! It was the perfect mix of music for all generations, and she got even our reticent guests up and dancing-- everyone had a wonderful time! She was a consummate professional throughout our engagement, meeting with us beforehand and staying in close touch up to our wedding-- she was very responsive to any and all questions via email, and gave us excellent information on some of the most commonly-played selections, which made it so much easier to choose what we wanted. And she played not just the song we wanted for our recessional, but the particular section we requested, so we had the triumphant music we wanted as we were leaving the ceremony. She provided excellent value, and was wonderful to work with throughout-- if you're looking for a fantastic DJ in the Charlotte area who will allow the focus to be on you and your guests, you cannot go wrong with All the Right Grooves. If we had it to do over again, we wouldn't even consider trusting the music and running our ceremony to anyone else. We cannot thank her enough for the superb job she did!

We were lucky enough to have All the Right Grooves be apart of our wedding day. Jill was our DJ who did an amazing job of keeping all of our guest on the dance floor. Our big day was a celebration and we told Jill from the first to the last song played we wanted people dancing and that is just what she made happen. All the Right Grooves was amazing!!!

This company is absolutely AMAZING! There is a reason you will not find one negative review. Jill came all the way to Raleigh from Charlotte at a very reasonable rate. We got tons of compliments on the style, volume of the music, and flow of the evening. She made every announcement that we asked and completely "nailed" our style. We could not be more pleased! She was also completely responsive to our many requests and would get back to us within minutes of an email during the planning process. We LOVED All the Right Grooves!!!

Jill was amazing at our reception!!! Very professional & easy to work with. Everyone keeps telling us how much FUN our wedding was. People were on the dance floor the entire time, except for during dinner. We did give Jill a pretty big wish list, which she completely delivered!! I have no doubt that even without a wish list, she would have played what we wanted to hear. Everyone had so much fun!! My husband Jay & I totally LOVED it!!! Music makes the party, so ATRG is who you need on your team to entertain your wedding!! Trust me, you won't regret it. The best part of all: the 2 playlist CD's Jill gave us at the end filled with all our fave songs!!!! AWESOME!!!!

Bethany was exceptional. I found her from this board and am SO thrilled that I booked them. Everybody's right - run, don't walk, to book them. She was the perfect emcee but wasn't obnoxious. She kept the party going and the dance floor was always full. She even gave us a CD of our must-play list as a surprise. She was an awesome DJ and I hope to see her at other friends' weddings in the future!

Bethany of All The Right Grooves was absolutely phenomenal. I shopped around and spoke with other DJ companys and they were all more expensive, and they wanted to have several meetings to craft the entire music playlist for the reception. I thought that was overkill and I was really looking for a DJ who could take basic direction and then run from there. So when we met with Bethany about 6 months before the wedding, we instantly knew that she was the right person to manage our reception. She promised to act as our coordinator throughout the whole evening, keep an eye on us while we socialize and give us 15 min notice before cake cutting/bouquet & garter/etc, and not be a cheesy 'performer' DJ - just play great music. We were sold, and everything she promised that day she delivered even more than we could have hoped. We provided a Must Play list but we told her to be flexible and just read the crowd. Within 10 minutes after dinner was over, 95% of the wedding guests (all ages from teens to our grandparents) were on the floor and stayed there the ENTIRE night. It was unbelievable. Everyone raved about how great the DJ was. In terms of communication before the wedding, email was best for me and Jill and Bethany were so responsive, and just so easy to work with. I would highly recommend ATRG to anyone, I simply cannot say enough good things about them! And for the price? Selecting them was honestly one of the best decisions we made.

Jill at All The Right Grooves was AWESOME!! She was so responsive throughout the planning process and was welcome to my many, many requests :) Everyone had a great time at our reception and I know a lot of that had to do with the music because there was music for all ages. Pretty sure that every single generation was out there at some point! she really kept me on schedule and reminded me to eat :) Would highly recommend them!!

My groom and I knew we wanted a DJ at our reception but the last few weddings we had attended had us second-guessing whether we wanted to take a chance of getting some crazy DJ that was more of an entertainer (think cheesy magician) then someone that could really help orchestrate our reception. . .and then we met Jill. I cannot rave about how COMPLETELY AMAZING AND WONDERFUL All the Right Grooves was at our reception - we were on the same page immediately about what kind of music to play, and Jill was absoloutely great about keeping us on time. All of our guests raved about how our reception was one of the best run receptions they have attended - and it is thanks to Jill from All the Right Grooves.

Wow, what a party! I had an absolute blast at my wedding reception and I give All The Right Grooves the majority of the credit. Jill was awesome and got a feel for my guests right from the start. The dance floor was packed the entire night and my guests repeatedly told me "how awesome the DJ was." My husband and I did not really give a play list or do not play list and that may have been a big risk. However, Jill totally delivered! I would definitely recommend All The Right Grooves! You will not be disappointed!!

Jill rocked my wedding!! She was amazing from day one. She was very informative and prompt when i had questions. she even emailed me music samples so that i could listen to the different songs I was selecting for ceremony. she even had some great ideas about ceremony music to play- I wanted less traditional music and more mainstream- so she pointed out Vitamin String Quartet's music, and i went with that. She was such a pleasure to work with. I highly highly highly reccommend this company. my wedding day was perfect, and it had a lot to do with Jill and her great ideas, attitude, and professionalism.

Bethany was our DJ for our October 2010 wedding and she was absolutely amazing. She kept everyone dancing and really helped set the mood for the night. You will not be disappointed if you go with All The Right Grooves!!!!

All the Right Grooves did an excellent job for our daughter's wedding. It was fun, relevant, and exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend them!

These ladies were amazing. They did the sound for our wedding which was outside. And they were perfect, The reception they kept going at a great pace. They are not gimicky. They play what you want. Did a great pre-wedding interview to really get a feel for what we wanted. And they made us a mixed cd of our wedding music. They could charge MORE because they are THAT good. USE THEM!!!

Best DJ in town!! My husband is Colombian, so we wanted to incorporate some traditional Colombian music into our reception party mix...salsa, merengue, etc. All the Right Grooves did a PERFECT job. I wouldn't have changed a thing...it was awesome.

Once we set our wedding date back in September 08, and booked our venue, I booked ATRG right away without even meeting them or calling them. Just sent in a deposit. THAT is how good word-of-mouth is about them. They are famous on "The Knot" boards for being the best DJ's in NC, and they definitely did not disappoint. Bethany did our reception and she was great. She listened to everything I wanted, and kept the dance floor packed. Best part of all, their prices are VERY reasonable. I want to get married again just to have them come DJ the wedding :) lol. Definitely recommend!

One of the best vendors I have ever worked with. Jill and Bethany were both amazing. They were timely on all their feedback, Bethany was a joy to meet with. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Everyone at the wedding commented on how much they loved the music and what a great job she did. She got people out on the dance floor and they stayed there all night! Amazing!
