Couples may decide to stick with tradition and save the top tier for their 1st anniversary or decide to serve the top tier at the reception and order a fresh tier for the couple's 1st anniversary. Should the couple decide to save the top tier, the cost and servings of the top tier (6" or smaller)will not be calculated with the overall price of the wedding cake. If the couple decides to serve the top tier, the cost and servings of the top tier (6" or smaller) will be calculated with the total cost of the cake. In this case, a certificate will be issued for a free, 6", 1st anniversary tier to be redeemed within the month surrounding the couple's first anniversary.
